PROCESS Innovation Award Winner
The dosing ball valve ProfiProp from ASV Stübbe was awarded with the PROCESS Innovation Award
PROCESS, PharmaTEC and LaborPraxis were presenting the PROCESS Innovation Award at ACHEMA and therefore they have looked for the most innovative appliances and processes at the exhibition.
Criteria for the application:
The innovations should be displayed and presented at the exhibition stands
Development projects will not be considered
The innovations must be available for purchase at the time of presentation
Relevant criteria are degree of innovation, quality of the innovation, efficiency and economic viability.
Due to the completely new design of the valve ball, the ProfiProp has a unique control behaviour with precise reproducibility of the flow quantities.
The dosing ball valve is supplied as a manual valve with T-handle and a 90° position indicator in the sizes DN 15 to DN 50. It can also be easily controlled fully automatically via an electric actuator with an external control system.
The patented ProfiProp is the economical alternative to a diaphragm valve for use with fluids free of solid particles.
